Horse riding in both Terelj and Khentii National Parks. So close to Ulaanbaatar but so beautiful, so close to civilization but so remote... The countryside of Gorki-Terelj National Park and Khentii Stricly Protected Area is one of the most beautiful in Mongolia: eroded rock formations, Mountains pines-covered, plains carpeted with wild flowers and edelweiss, rivers and lakes... the ideal place to let itself being guided by our horses and follow the rhythm of the animals carting our material in the most remoted parts of these two parks.

Program

Day 1. Welcome at your arrival at the Ulaanbaatar airport. Transfer to your hotel (Standard category). City tour. Visit of Gandantegchilen monastery and introduction to Buddhism in the Buddhist center of Mongolia. Lunch in a restaurant of the city. Visit of the Natural history museum. Briefing on the trip. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 2. 9h00 - departure from Ulaanbaatar to Khustain National Park where you will have the opportunity to spot the Przewalski horses in their wild environment. Dinner and night under the tent. 120 Km - 2h30

Day 3. Drive to Terelj National Park. Visit of the Turtle Rock, and then we will head to our horses' herder family.  Dinner and night in the nomad family. 200 Km

Jour 4. Breakfast and leaving on horse riding trek. Ride along the Terelj River and set up our camp on the bank of the Baruunbayan River. Dinner and night under the tent. 28 Km

Jour 5. Today horse riding towards the Gunjiim Monastery's ruins. Dinner and night under the tent. 30 Km

Jour 6. Go throughout the Khavirgiin hill and gallop across the green meadow of Khagiin khar. Dinner and night under the tent. 32 Km

Jour 7. Ride to the Khagiin khar Lake (Black Lake). We will set up our camp on the Bank of this 20-deep glacial Lake.  Dinner and night under the tent. 30 Km

Jour 8. This day will take us to the Yestii hot springs. Dinner and night under the tent. 28 Km

Jour 9. Peaceful days on which we will go and discover from our camp the different springs that are scattered in this area. Dinner and night under the tent. 12 Km 

Jour 10. Visit of Saridagiin Monastery then ride back to Khagiin khar Lake. Set up our camp on the bank of the Lake. 29 Km.

Day 11.  Ride alond the Tuul River before pitching our tents in the green meadow of Khar usan tokhoin. Dinner and night under the tent. 30 Km 

Day 12. Ride along the Tuul River and set up our camp on its bank. Dinner and night under the tent. 32 Km 

Day 13. Our loop is ending and we will head back to the Nomad family that welcomed us the first night. Dinner and night under the ger in Nomad family. 28 Km

Day 14. Drive to Ulaanbaatar and transfer to your hotel. After lunch, visit of the Bogd Khaan winter palace. Shopping. Overnight at the hotel. 80 Km

Day 15. Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Departure.
