Despite what you might hear about food supplies in Mongolia, it's now very simple to have a balanced diet, even if you're a vegetarian. If you're intending to eat out in Ulaanbaatar, there are a large number of restaurants serving quality, Chinese, Indian, Korean, Japanese, Italian, English, American, French, Russian, Latin American and of course Mongolian cuisines.
There are also a lot of supermarkets and markets selling both Mongolian and imported goods from China, Russia, East Asia and Europe.

During your trip, most of the time we will have a picnic for lunch, and we will take our dinner either in the restaurant of the gers camp, either in the nomad family we're staying at, either under the mess tent in bivouac. Whereas, you will find Mongolian and internatioal food in gers amp, you will eat Mongolian in Nomad families. During the Bivoua. it will be a mix between Mongolian delicacies and International dishes, simple but always opious. Thanks to inform us in advance if you're a vegetarian or if you follow a special diet as we can arrange the meals according to your taste..

Mongolians dishes are maily made with boiled (beef, mutton), fried (Khoosho) or boiled (Buuz) meat dumpling. potatoes, rice, soup.
